BMedSci, MSc, RGN, SCPHN, FHEA, Licensed Menopause Champion
Liz is a dedicated registered nurse and specialist community public health nurse. As a fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she also brings over seven years of academic experience as a lecturer, programme leader, and manager. After a period of burnout and disillusionment in academic management, Liz embarked on a personal wellness journey, losing six stone and finding the support she needed during perimenopause. This transformative experience inspired her to help others achieve their own health and wellbeing goals.
She is the founder of Healthy New Me, where she works as a personal wellness coach, passionate about holistic models of health, wellbeing, and nutrition. Liz focuses particularly on supporting women through perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause, helping them navigate these life stages with confidence and vitality. Her vision is to foster a healthier population through excellent nutrition and to empower communities with education and support around their unique health challenges.
Beyond her clinical and coaching work, Liz is a lifelong advocate for curiosity and personal growth. Having once been stuck in a reading rut, she founded the Book Nook Club to create a space for exploring new ideas, sharing thought-provoking conversations, and connecting with others through literature. What started as a personal quest for richer reading experiences has become a vibrant community where laughter, reflection, and discovery flourish.
Liz’s combined expertise, lived experience, and passion for public health, women’s wellness, and personal growth drive her impactful work across personal, corporate, clinical, and academic settings.
